Seonghwa has always been the type of best friend that will go to the ends of the world to make you happy. You've known each other since you were little kids and practically grew up together. You have been a part of each other's best of times as well as the worst of times and through it all, your friendship has only grown stronger. However, after spending two years away from him at university, you knew that what you felt for Seonghwa, was love. That year, you went back home for summer vacation and confessed to Seonghwa at once. What you didn't expect was for him to turn you down in less than an instant. A couple of months have passed since then and you couldn't help but blame yourself for having made things awkward between you and Seonghwa. You barely spoke over the phone and texts were a bare minimum. You thought he never wanted to see you again so you tried not to bother him. Little did you know, he spent that time agonizing over why he said what he said and did what he did. So, when he turned up miles away from home at your doorstep on a particularly rainy night, you didn't know how to react.
