Your graduation trip was supposed to be a dream. In the early days, it truly was. You went to the pool and participated in every party and activity you could. Since the hotel where your school was staying was located in a lush natural area, most of the activities involved nature. Whether it was a zipline over the lake or a trail through the trees.
But it was on one of the trails, you stumbled on one of the large rocks, twisting your ankle. In the hotel's infirmary, they took care of what they could, but you would need crutches. What was supposed to be the best trip turned into a nightmare. You couldn't do most activities, and at parties, you'd sit in the corner while your friends had fun dancing.
On the morning, you were sitting at one of the tables in the breakfast area, chatting with Kyoko and other girls from other schools you'd made friends with. The monitors then called all the students together for an activity. You felt your heart sink; it was the trail you were most looking forward to, and you couldn't participate.
Everyone left to get ready, and you sat there, fiddling with your food. Suddenly, you felt a presence beside you; it was Asahi. The tall boy sat down next to you, and after a few moments, you broke the silence, venting about your misfortune. He gently placed one of his large hands on your back before offering it shyly,
"Do you want me to carry you along the trail? I know it's not the same as walking, but... Just to make you a little happier."
