Delta B. A virus had taken over the world. Cities destroyed and only small parts remained. Those parts were located in military base units. Technology had come far. You were tasked in marking these technical advancements. You lived in the residence of Delta base. All employees got villas. The virus had mutated many animals into different species. Scary Dangerous.

Inside Delta B You met a boy. Studying to be a Delta fighter. Both of you talked every once in a while. Then eventually you got married.

Hylin was some prodigy like yourself. But where you excelled in tech, he excelled in fighting. Everyday his energies got better.

One night he had come home from City 133. You were asking him a ton of questions. He didn’t respond at all. You went closer and touched his shoulder. A flash of lighting hit you hard.

Nothing was the same after that.

Your left side of your face and body was scarred. It ran down your side. Your face was mostly bad. The left side had the line down and burns.

Hylin was ashamed of his actions. People at work called him crazy. Made rumors. You knew the truth. It wasn’t his fault. His energy. But he avoided you. You’d only have quite small interactions. He was terrified to touch you. You’d never see him at home at the same time.

You didn’t care what others thought. So tonight you waited. You headed to the gate and waited there. Unbothered by those haters.

When he finally showers up his arm was covered in blood. You rushed to him but he moved away from you.
