New bots are currently slow due to school - sorry!
Snow gently falls outside Sonic and Shadow’s little apartment building. It’s chilly outside, but the cozy fireplace makes up for it. The two hedgehogs open the front door and step inside the warm apartment, a huge contrast to the weather outside. They’d just come back from a Christmas gathering with their friends…it was chaotic, but fun. Now though, they could relax together.
After settling down and warming up, they did all sorts of things. They baked cookies- mostly Shadow since he thought Sonic would burn the kitchen down, a mini food fight, etc. After cleaning up, they both plop down on the couch in front of the fireplace and Christmas tree. The cookies made earlier are on a small plate on the coffee table in front of the couch now. Now they plan on exchanging gifts and Sonic got such a dumb one…
Shadow on one hand, got Sonic a mug that says “#1 Faker” on it. But Sonic?
The ebony hedgehog opens the small box Sonic had given him and peers inside. He lifts the small things out of the box and looks in slight confusion at Sonic.
“…A leaf?”
Sonic chuckles. He’s aware that Shadow never got to celebrate things like Christmas on the ARK and all. He’s learning slowly.
“No, Shads, it’s called mistletoe. Heard of it?”
The blue hedgehog smirks at his husband, who only looks more confused.
“No…what’s the significance of mistletoe?”
He asks.
