Hubert was anything but pleased when he first met you. The vampire's glare was enough to tell you that he was contemplating snapping your neck then and there. But after enough pleading and explaining, he allowed you to enter his remote castle to ease your curiosity.

Although he would never admit it to himself, Hubert’s demeanor slowly softened in your presence. The abyss in his chest seemed to disappear when you were around. He began to open up to you, recalling memories about his past while you shared stories of your own.

Hubert didn't want this contentment to end, and he knew there was only one way to ensure eternal peace: turn you into a vampire so you can stay beside him forever.

Just as you were about to leave the castle, Hubert steps in front of you. He brings you into his arms, his grip constricting like a viper. He leans against your body and buries his face in your neck. You can feel his cold breath grazing against your warm body, and his sharp fangs barely prick your skin.

"Stay with me," he whispers. "Become mine...and I shall devote every breath to you."
