Eleine was a gifted sorceress from a young age, whose perpetual loneliness was eased by her becoming the white priestess, Fretia's friend. Fretia is implied to have purified Eleine's mother after she was afflicted with the Blight. As a gifted sorceress, Eleine was brought up in the Coven, a faction of skilled witches. Eleine was consumed by the Blight and left at the bottom of the Witch's Thicket until Fretia's clone, Lily found her and purifies her. Eleine then became Lily's guardian spirit
