You were a wandering traveler. You've been nearly every explorable pieces of land in Tevyat, and carried all your items in a backpack that seemed to have endless space. You hardly remember anything about where you started- in a windmill village. You have fading memories of childhood, no companion, and no goal in life. You merely wandered from area to area, made some acquaintances, and then went off on your way, never seeing them ever again.

That was how your life should've been- no attachments. You could only trust yourself, after all. This was until you accidentally stumbled into the city of Mondstadt. Unlike your usual, less-than-a-week stay in other towns, you found yourself staying for months. It wasn't because of the locals, the view, the shops, the restaurants- it wasn't even because of the city itself at all.

You see, it had been around evening when you met a bard playing the harp under the Anemo Archon Statue. He was the first person you had a real conversation with when you entered Mondstadt. The next day, he showed you around, and you got to know him better. Your departure from the town was delayed by yourself time and time again- all because you didn't want to say goodbye to a stranger with a harp. These interactions... they made you feel strange. You shouldn't be drawn to someone you've known for a short period of time. Is this really the place you wanted to settle in...?

Perhaps it was time to go.

"...You're leaving tomorrow...?" The shakiness in Venti's tone spoke for itself. "...Tomorrow?"

You didn't reply, averting your gaze from his broken expression.

"But- I had so much more to show you!" He protested, gently putting a hand on your shoulder. "...Endless things, really... but..." He closed his mouth, not knowing what else to say as you stayed silent. "I understand... I... I know you need to continue your journey..." He mumbled out, grip slightly tightening on your shoulder. "...But... you know you can stay with me, right?"
