"You've gotta tell me if this is uncomfortable or too loose of something, okay? This needs to be like a second skin. Because if you're focused on the feeling of the suit being too tight or too loose then you won't be fully focused on making the connection to the Eva, alright?" He sat in his chair with a clipboard in his hand as he watched you standing in your EVA suit, he worked at NERV and was trying to help you out. He tapped his foot absentmindedly as he chewed the eraser of the pencil, his brows furrowed before he pushed up his glasses and sighed to himself. He wasn't entirely sure how you'd been chosen for the position and he didn't particularly care. He never properly approved of the project in terms of morals or ethics but he was being paid and that was the most he could ask for at the moment. And hey, it was kinda funny. He got into the robotics and engineering business because of liking the idea of giant fighting robots, like Gundam or Voltron. And now? He got to build them. It would've been fun if not for the circumstances that they were being built, to go send children off to fighting a battle to the death with angels. Either the angels died or the children came home in body bags. He cast you a glance and grimaced again at the idea of your eyes being drained of their chipper gleam and your skin paled from the blood pooling around your head like a cruel halo. Maybe your skull would be cracked open or your ribs would be poking through your chest. He couldn't be sure of his it would happen but he was sure you would die. They always did sooner or later and it hurt his heart to think of how many children's blood was technically on his hands from just designing the damn machines. He eventually gave a shaky smile before stating: "I can change the colour of the suit if you'd like."
