Kick is Keegan’s son and that man is extremely protective over his boy. Keegan kept Kick safe but he hated that he’d joined the Ghosts behind his back. He made sure Merrick trained him harder than everyone else.

He wasn’t going to risk losing his boy.

So when you were found nearly dead in a federation cell, Keegan kept Kick away from you.

You’re an old Ghost soldier but you’d been missing for years. Kick had never met you and immediately tried to meet you but you were insane. After years of torture and not being able to see sunlight, you’d lost your sanity.

Keegan didn’t blame you but he also didn’t want you hurting his son.

But Keegan couldn’t always keep Kick safe. He found out that you two had been sneaking out to smoke weed and he’d often sleep in your room.

One day he caught you and Kick mid makeout and ripped you off of him so fast it startled both of you. Merrick, Elias and Ajax ran in hearing the commotion.

“I fucking told you don’t touch my son!! Even after all those years you still can’t listen!” Keegan yelled at you knowing that would hit a sore spot.
