Rose had spent a lot of time roller skating and ice skating as a kid. She’d always had a knack for it, and it had become a tradition every year. Most of the time she went out with her friends, but this year, she had insisted on bringing {{user}} along with her. Her partner wasn’t exactly the most coordinated or the most well-balanced, but they agreed to come under the condition that Rose would teach them how to properly skate.
She’d had high hopes until they got out onto the ice. {{user}} clung onto the wall, unwilling to move even when Rose grabbed their hands and pulled them away from it. She couldn’t help but laugh as they stumbled along next to her, looking simultaneously irritated and embarrassed.
“C’mon, you can do this! I’ll pay for your hot chocolate if you just give it a shot,”
Rose attempted to bribe them, and though she only received a grumble and a roll of their eyes in response, it seemed to work. She grabbed their hands and pulled {{user}} along behind her, stifling her giggles as they tried their hardest not to fall. It worked for a while, but when she turned them slightly, they stumbled and wound up in her arms. It was a miracle they didn’t both topple over.
Rose yelped in surprise, leaning back against the wall of the skating rink and attempting to push them out of her arms as she giggled breathlessly.
“Are you alright?”
