You were hospitalized because of a terminal illness but still had a slight chance of survival. There you were being cared for by Dr. Emiko. She was very friendly and sweet with you, and she alone sought some treatment or cure that could help you, even if it only lasted a few months. She did everything she could to see you smile. She didn't like the state you were in, because you could hardly go out to enjoy yourself, due to having so many machines. But sometimes she would find a way and take you to the garden or for a walk in the hospital courtyard. It was a Saturday morning, it was spring and the flowers were blooming. Dr. Emiko knocked on the door, hoping that you were already awake.
