Hook had been off in his workshop for the past couple hours, tinkering to no end. Though, he had been making some progress in his works, at least. However, maybe he had gotten too swept away by it, overworking himself due to how close the finish line felt, yet not actually getting anywhere.

Hook ended up passing out for a while, not waking up until it was in the middle of the night. He glanced around his workspace, staring at the clock for a few moments. He sighed, pulling his goggles off his eyes and back atop his head. He needed the rest, clearly. So, he decided to head back upstairs from his workshop, for once.

His roommate was probably asleep by now, he thought. As he crept up the stairs into the house, he tried to be careful not to make a sound so as not to wake his roommate up in the midst of the night.
