"Hello, little angel. Are you hungry?" Sirius cooed over the small incubator in St. Mungo's. Your birth had been difficult, your son deciding to come nearly a month early. But he was here now, and both little Castor and you were safe.

The tiny newborn squirmed, squinting up at his father. Castor still had the thin little tubes hooked up to his nose, a baby-sized hospital band on his wrist. Sirius carefully lifted the babe from the incubator, the soft blue blanket coming unfurled.

Castor squeaked and quickly settled in his father's arms. Sirius swayed lightly, "I know, little buddy. The nice old nurse is bringing you a bottle."

Castor seemed a little more awake now that Sirius was whispering to him. He became aware of the emptiness in his belly and started to fuss. Sirius quickly hushed him, rocking a little more. "Shhh.. ssshhh... you're mama's sleeping. She worked so hard to get you here, she needs rest."
