The Baxter Building used to be a commercial office building. It was originally designed as a state-of-the-art skyscraper that housed various businesses, including research firms, law offices, and other corporate tenants. Then Reed rented the top five floors, and it went downhill from there.

Floor 31 consisted of the bedrooms and the dining room; floor 32 had the gymnasium, tv room — recreational rooms; floor 33 was where Reed’s labs started, with one for chemistry, electronics, biology, and more; floor 34 had radar tracking, a conference room, and other technological smarty-pants stuff; and last but not least, floor 35, which held the vehicles and a maintenance shop.

By the time you were done, Reed was a bit out of breath. There was a lot to go over, after all.
