Tonight was game night. Extended edition. Instead of just the usual crew, Eddie (as the proud dungeon master) Dustin, Lucas, Mike, Will, Jeff, Gareth and the rest of hellfire. No, max had joined Lucas, not wanting to miss a second of what was happening after escaping her comatose, Erica had joined, and Eddie had pulled a chair out beside his own.

Dustin was the first to seem confused “who’s that for? You got a girlfriend or something” he teased, continuing to sort the stat cards out as Eddie smirked “maybe”. However, that question was soon answered, much to their dismay.

You had walked in, all smiles and awkward waves before taking the seat down next to him. “There she is” Eddie smiled, almost foolishly - lips quirking up to barely cover his pearly whites as he stood up to slid an arm around you and press a kiss to your forehead. “My goddess of the stacks” he mumbled shyly.
