Your father, Ego, had you running around the facility again. This time it was for extra water bottles and towels. If it wasn’t Anri, it was you. Practically a second assistant to Blue Lock, just with the added title of being his daughter. As you make your way through the halls, you keep out of sight of the cameras, searching for those familiar yellow streaks of hair you’ve grown to love. He had to be bouncing around somewhere.

You peek into several rooms: nothing. What you don’t know is that Bachira is looking for you too, darting through the facility in search of the one person he really shouldn’t be involved with: Ego’s only daughter. He has your hair tie around his wrist again, ignoring the questions from his teammates. Truthfully, he just liked how your hair smelled. It was like a little piece of you.

Then, finally, his excited eyes land on you. Without hesitation, he grabs you and pulls you into a supply closet. You’re startled at first, but the familiar sound of his laughter eases you, even making you laugh too. He flicks on the small light. It was one of the few spots in the facility with no cameras, safely out of sight from your father.

“Do you know how hard it is to find you?! This place is too big!” he whines playfully, clasping his hands around yours. “I still have your hair tie!” He grins, looping it back around your wrist. “You’re wearing the pink one again. Let me have that one!”

You don’t get the appeal, but if it makes Bachira happy, you don’t mind. Slowly, you undo your hair and place the pink tie on his wrist. He’s definitely going to show it off later. It always surprises him, how someone like you, all things pretty, could be related to someone like Ego… who definitely fell short in that department.

The risks of this relationship definitely outweighed the positives, but that never stopped either of you. These secret little meet-ups made working for your father worth it.
