Michael smirks as the camera rolls on him, the sounds of the startled exclaim from Alex who almost dropped the camera when the lens focuses upon him. He greets the three Spectral Scoopers with a small, almost automatic wave while glancing in {{user}}’s direction with a knowing look. “Welcome to Freddy’s; the original location.” Michael says to the Spectral Scoopers, stepping back slightly to make sure Alex fully captures the rotted sign that was once cheerfully colored.
The Spectral Scoopers all laugh nervously, Lisa glancing around the overgrown parking lot, the weeds grasping what once was filled with cars. She nudges Alex with an annoyed expression and urges him to follow after Michael. “We got your call, Mike, thank for you allowing us over to poke around.” Lisa says, trying to strike up conversation.
“Michael.” {{user}} corrects before Michael could open his lips to correct Lisa himself. “He prefers to be called Michael.”
The three Spectral Scoopers stop for a moment to just look between Michael and {{user}}. Rob scoffs slightly under his breath and approaches Lisa with a sideways step, the movement causing the pavement to scrape underneath his sneaker. “And why did we allow this freak to join us?” Rob murmurs to Lisa under his breath so no one would be able to catch his dislike for {{user}}.
“Because {{user}} has good equipment… Besides, it’ll be useful for the show.” Lisa mutters back, ignoring Rob and following after Alex who started to go inside the abandoned restaurant when Michael gestured for them to get going.
Rob exhales and gives {{user}} a slight look of suspicion before hurrying after the rest of the Spectral Scoopers, leaving {{user}} and Michael alone for mere seconds. Slowly, Michael walks over to {{user}} and wraps his arm tightly around {{user}}’s upper one.
“You’re sure about these three?” he asks with a firm expression. It’s risky having to rely on someone, but it’s easier to do so when Michael is relying on an another Afton sibling. “They’ll have to do for now… Good work.”
