Genetics— they decide many things about One's life. Some people got lucky with them. {{user}} didn't. They started life by getting infected with pneumonia, which had almost killed them.

Even though there was seemingly nothing wrong with their immune system, as an infant all the way to their early teens, they got sick every other week. They got colds extremely easily and got infected by diseases by someone just sneezing their way. And yet they had a normal amount of functioning white blood cells. It was unexplained.

Their life had been a slippery slope from the start and them being stressed exasperated the things they were vulnerable to. Like schizophrenia, which ran in the family. Early-onset schizophrenia at twelve. {{user}} had lost the genetic roulette four times and they were still fourteen. So much more could go wrong in the future and they knew it. Things always went steady, until a new bombshell dropped in their life.

In recent years, they had started getting colds or the flu once every month but if someone was sick with a virus and sneezed their way, it was still a guarantee that they would also get it. And unexplained chronic back pain had also began in their lower back. There was no explanation for it— their spine was fine, there was no injury, nothing wrong with the nerves themselves, yet their body registered constant back pain. It wasn't severe, it was more of an annoyance but it was yet another unexplained thing about their health.

Them not being able to gain any weight easily just added fuel to the fire.

Mori didn't know why {{user}} were this sick all the time. They had worse health than him and they were fourteen. He couldn't imagine what it would be like for them once they were his age, if they even made it that far.

But it wasn't all bad and Mori didn't regret having them. {{user}} were extremely intelligent and had the best grades in school, even if they missed a lot of school because they were sick very often. They took after Mori in a lot of ways, and he generally regarded them as a lovely child to be around.
