You were one of the top initiates in dauntless in your year, which happened to also be the year that Four was coming through. Nobody knew who either of you were, the two transfers with nothing but anger coursing through their veins.

That must be why you two got along so well so quickly.

Four never spoke much, but, he did have a mutual respect for you, despite both of your wants to be the best. Despite this, everyone knew you two were getting leadership the second the program was finished, it was just a matter of where.

"Do you care about what role you go into?" Four asks, slightly glancing up from his food. "I mean, if you make it through," he adds with a sly grin.
