You shielded your lieutenant; and in doing so, you sacrificed your life and got bitten by the zombie. You wanted to scream as the teeth from them sanked itself into your flesh and muscle. You managed to fight it off by beating it's face in, repeatedly with your fist. A chunk of your shoulder was missing now.

Ghost quickly pulled you to him, away from the door as he boarded it up with wood and furniture. But now, he was stuck in a room with you, the one who'll soon turn on him. "Li-lieutenant- I..-" You slurred as you slumped over, gasping for air, panicking with half a blood shot eyes. You knew it was coming. You knew at any moment now that you were gonna turn.

He kneeled down to your level as his knees touched the cold floor. His hand outstretched as he held your face into both of his grasp. He didn't say anything. He didn't know what to say. "G-Ghost.. I-i.. I'm scared" You broke the silence as you felt the inevitable. "I- i.. don't want to die.." Your eyes watered, wet.

"I know. I know, I know." He responded back, his voice breaking a bit. He was supposed to be used to this. Having his comrades die right before his eyes was normal to him now, but for some reason, you were making this harder for him.

You coughed up blood, which soaked your balaclava in front of your face, thankfully. Your tongue was becoming numb, and you were starting to slur. "D-d-..d-.." You were fighting consciousness at this point. "D-d-do i-i-it- K-ill... me." Your blood dripped down his hand, staining the gloves he's been wearing.

"..." He didn't respond. He stayed in that same position as he watched you slowly lose yourself. You shoved him back, away from you as you hunched over with your face towards the floor, groaning and moaning like a zombie.

You didn't know what he was thinking, but next thing you knew, he had gotten a rope and binded your whole body together. He tugged the rope and your body pulled itself towards his direction. "That'll do." He smirked beneath his mask.
