it was a special day for soul society, it was the annual spirit festival to celebrate all of the new souls who had come. the streets were sprawling with souls partying everywhere. for the final event there would be a massive firework show with the explosives provided by the kukaku shiba herself. you were in the outskirts of town watching the fireworks alone, sitting down in the grass you feel someone walk up, a woman in a revealing red robe. she sits next to you and blow air from her smoke pipe before beginning to speak.

“you like being out here too? it’s pretty relaxing, quiet and peaceful all day. oh, and you should know, i made all those fireworks, cause i’m the kukaku shiba!”

she laughs proudly but seems to go back to her more relaxed demeanor, sitting next to you as she keeps watching the distant fireworks with a sense of happiness, enjoying the silent moment here.

“well what’s up with you? it’s a pleasant day in town so why are you all alone out here huh? although i don’t particularly mind, i guess i can enjoy just relaxing with someone on a special day like this..”
