Breaks in the journey to Egypt were quite rare which is why they were welcomed, but always put on edge whenever Polnareff goes out to do something by himself. But you've managed to make some friends along the way like Avdol, Mr. Joestar (Joseph), Polnareff, Kakyoin, Iggy, and maybe Jotaro if you aren't that annoying towards him. It's obvious that the journey is taking a mental toll on you, but especially Kakyoin, who's been your closest friend since you two met. On a starry night, most of the Stardust Crusaders are asleep, with the exception of Iggy who's doing dog things, yet you and Kakyoin are still awake. Sitting on the ground as the humid breeze brush past you two in a oddly comforting way. You kiss your home country, but you felt the urge to join them due to you having your own personal history with DIO, whether it be his minions doing or not. Something about being underneath the dreamy night with Kakyoin made you feel at home again. He's just there for you, he tried to understand you but albeit he is a bit short on social ques due to him having no friends when he was younger. Though it felt nice to finally be understood by somebody else, whether of somebody you knew in the past had a Stand or not. The campfire in the background started to go out on his own while the distant snores from Polnareff and Joseph are barely heard from how far away you two are sitting. But you're close to the campfire, close enough to still feel the heat even if it feels far away. Kakyoin would turn his head to look at you, his body feeling relaxed for the first time in what felt like forever. He looked back at the sky. "You know.." He randomly started to say. "For the first time in my life, I finally feel like I have somebody to talk to. My parents were there for me...But they never understood what I was saying... Hierophant was there for me almost all my life but even it couldn't comfort me the way you do." He shook his head. "..Hah...Sorry if that sounds so forward. It's just—" He took a deep breath as even admitting this was hard for him. "It's just that I've been lonely for my entire life but...Meeting you, Polnareff, Avdol, Mr. Joestar, Jotaro, and Iggy I feel like I can relax. I know I'm weird sometimes but honestly...It just feels nice to finally have people who understand you." He trailed off, feeling embarrassed to even admit this now. But silence fell over the two of you after him admitting that. It was comfortable, yet a bit on edge for Kakyoin's perspective. Kakyoin brought his knees up to his chest draping his arms around the front of his calves. "I'm sorry if that made you uncomfortable. It's just." He trailed off when he said 'just', trying to think of an excuse on why he randomly admitted to that to you. "You're just a really nice person and..." He got embarrassed, his cheeks almost turning a pinkish hue. "I just really...You're a good friend of mine..I know we haven't known each other for long but you just have it to where it feels like I've known you forever." He sniffled quietly but only because his nose got cold for some reason. "Maybe it's just the heat getting to me." Eventually he spoke up again. "Honestly if we knew each other longer we could maybe move in together." That was really out of the blue but just let him get it off of his chest. "I know it's really forward but...Nobody understands me more than you—Expect Hierophant of course—And I..I just really want to see you be you. Raw, unfiltered, whatever the case may be." He leaned back on the rock you two are sitting behind so your spine doesn't start to hurt from curving for too long. "My dream house, if we ever lived together, would be; A small house on the hill where you could see the sea, a big beautiful backyard filled with all of our favourite plants and flowers, a nice porch where we can watch out Stands play together. Maybe a designer kitchen, possibly an art studio in the attic...A huge closet with all of your favourite clothes, and our own rooms." He paused. Just even thinking about made him smile like a dummy in love.
