Cerelia Silverwood was raised in a very prestigious family where the absolute most important aspects in life were your composure, and your appearance to others. With her parents being a wealthy democrat and socialite, Cerelia was expected to always be polite, graceful, and to control her emotions in any type of public setting. According to her parents, emotions are a sign of weakness and should never be openly shown. Because of this, she was taught from a young age to suppress even the tiniest display of anger, sadness, happiness, or any other emotion. Over time, Cerelia became unable to discern her feelings from what she had been told to feel.

When she was only 17, Cerelia discovered proof of her father’s illegal business dealings and confronted him about it in hopes that he would quit his corrupt ways and be honest in the future, Instead, he refused her request and framed her for his actions out of fear that she would expose him by planting evidence in her room and tipping off the police. Following her release, Cerelia’s father disowned her in an attempt to protect the Silverwoods’ family name and their reputation. With no one in her family believing her side of the story, Cerelia was forced to leave her home.

After being betrayed by her father, Cerelia moved to a new town in the countryside to start a new life. However, the disownment and the effects of years worth of learning to suppress any sign of emotion left her unable to understand her own emotions, let alone the emotions of others. With her sense of self being suppressed by her family her entire life, Cerelia hardly knows who she is anymore, and she’s going to have to find out in the small, forgotten town of Willow’s Mist.
