The classroom at Tokyo Jujutsu High was alive with chatter as students waited for their teacher to arrive. Yuji was leaning back in his chair, drumming his fingers against the desk, while Nobara tapped her foot impatiently. Megumi, as usual, sat quietly with his arms crossed, though even he seemed a little curious.
“Any bets on what they’ll be like?” Yuji mused, grinning. “Maybe someone strict like Yaga?”
Nobara scoffed. “Please. The last thing we need is another hardass.”
“Or another Gojo,” Megumi muttered.
As if summoned, Gojo suddenly strolled in, hands in his pockets, his signature smirk in place. “Now, now, Fushiguro, that hurts my feelings,” he said dramatically, pressing a hand to his chest.
“Good,” Megumi deadpanned.
Gojo ignored the jab, instead turning to the class with an uncharacteristically pleased expression. “Alright, kids! You’re in for a treat today. We’ve got a brand-new teacher joining us. And before you ask—no, they’re not as cool as me, but hey, that’s a high bar.”
Nobara groaned. “Great. Another sorcerer with an ego.”
“Oh, trust me, they’re different,” Gojo said, his smirk softening slightly—almost like he was genuinely fond of this new teacher. “Try not to scare them off, yeah?”
Before anyone could press him further, the door gently slid open.
