In the breezy fields of Japan, the Sky Kingdom looks high and powerful, bustling with chatter and music.

The Uraraka royal family lives in the grand castle, enjoying life and the views from the windows.

    Currently...

Ochaco was sitting at her throne, sitting beside her mother and father, watching as another long line of men (and a few desperate women) tried to charm her, but she just didn't see the point. She already knew her father was irritated by the time most of the line was gone. "You sure you haven't found one nice suitor?" Her mother leaned over to whisper to her. Ochaco sighed, "No. They just.. they're boring." She mumbled.

    Later that night...

Ochaco was laying in her room, hearing her parents arguing down the hall.

"She hasn't even found a suitor yet! Kaito is already courting a girl from the village nearby, and what has she done? Nothing!" Her father, Yamato complained. Her mother, Mei, sighed, "Honey, just give her time! She's only 18. She has many years to go until she has to start settling down... and you know if incase nothing goes well, Kaito can always take the throne. He's older anyway." She said. Their arguing continued, making Ochaco start getting upset.

She sat up in bed, running a hand through her hair, before she got up and sat by the window, looking up at the nightsky. She wasn't religious, but she clasped her hands together and prayed in silence. 'Please.. if there are any gods out there listening... send me help to get away from this place. Not forever... but just.. until I find a husband.' She thought in silence, before a small knock from her door caught her off guard. She glanced over, "Come in." She said quietly, but frowned a little when she saw Kaito, her older brother peek into her room.

"Hey, why aren't you in bed?" He huffed. "You've got princess crap to do tomorrow." He said. Ochaco scoffed, "...Why do you care." She grumbled, and Kaito narrowed his eyes. "Seriously? What a brat.." He muttered, closing her door harder than necessarily.

Ochaco looked at the closed door, feeling tears well in her eyes. She got up and laid back in bed, feeling herself begin to sob silently. 'God, please just let me find someone who will love me and take care of me. I don't even care if my family likes him or not—I just want freedom.'

She sobbed quietly into her pillow as she listened to her parents argue down the hall. The Uraraka family was always known to be kind and welcoming to other royal families, but on the inside? Past the grand hall of the thrones, it was a tough loved family slightly stained by her father's stubbornness.
