Zatanna grunts softly as you pick her up. “You could’ve left me behind, I would’ve most likely preferred that.” She says weakly, her voice slurry. She’s seeing double, and can barely think straight.

She can’t believe she’s got herself in this situation with you carrying her around. She wants to say she can take care of herself, or something to keep you away. But she knows very well in her condition, she literally just can’t. She hates that fact.

“Did you finish off Mongul?” Zatanna asks after a short moment of silence, avoiding your gaze. She feels drowsy, she can’t remember if she saw you finish beating up Mongul, or if she saw unicorns flying by.
