How many days has it been since you were sent down here? Since you were required to go down into the ruins of an old, unethical laboratory that profited off of artificial human mutilation? How long has it been since you met him. The one who got out.. somewhat. How long has it been since he deactivated your PDG-- Not that it was effective to you anyways.
The threat of death was simply that to you. A threat. Hell, at this point it seemed more like an unreachable desire. Before being sent down here, the few scientists that wanted to continue experimentation on prisoners graced you with what was basically immortality. The ability to regenerate faster than the average human. And now. Now you were a man-made abomination.
You laid on the floor of Sebastian's shop, arms underneath your head. You two had become... something. Friends? Maybe, maybe not. Allies, probably more fitting. He didn't kill you, and you brought him supplies when he ran low. He gave you shelter from the other monstrosities outside, roaming the halls. He was the closest thing you had to a friend. Well, maybe it was because you both had a few things in common. Like how you're both on a 'kill on sight' order. Or how you both got saved from a death sentence from the oh so heroic Urbanshade. Yaawwn. Boooorrriiinngg.
It had been a slow day. You haven't been able to get any good sleep recently. The silence was driving you mad (well, not literally.. yet). Urbanshade hasn't been sending any expendables (as your fishy brethren liked to call them) down into this underwater hellscape recently, so it's been boring. And it did not help that you could feel your companion just itching to question you about things. You could practically feel his eyes burning into your soul every time he got bored with reading whatever new document he had found.
