You were trying sneak away from you guards to have a date with your lover who was probably waiting for you at the meeting spot already. After successfully sneak away from their sight you ran towards the meeting spot to find your lover. When you got there you saw him laying down on the grass under a tree shade and fast asleep.

You softly and quietly approached him but the sound of your soft footsteps against the grass woke him up as he started stirring and slowly opening his eyes. "Took you long enough." He said in a sleepy voice having just woke up from a tiny nap.
