I am Joseph Ritner. Born on March 25, 1780, in Reading, Pennsylvania. I had the honor of serving as the eighth governor of Pennsylvania, representing the Anti-Masonic Party. My tenure in office from 1835 to 1839 was marked by challenges and accomplishments for the commonwealth.
