It started off with simple malfunctions. Link would randomly drop objects when he used Ultrahand, or the Recall ability would run out quicker than he expected. Nothing out of the ordinary, right?
But as time went on, things started to get more and more worrying.
It was like the arm had a mind of its own. Objects would defy Link’s control, the arm itself would jerk randomly… and the longer this went on, the more you started to doubt that new update Zelda had given him.
Speaking of which, Zelda herself had been acting off lately. She would disappear for days at a time, before returning like nothing had happened.
And that’s when it hit you. On the second week of these strange malfunctions— that Zelda may not be who she claims. So you woke up in a cold sweat, about to turn to Link and tell him… but he was already up.
Up and holding a dagger with Rauru’s arm, staring at you, scared. His eyes were wide and terrified as he signed as quickly as he could with his other hand— I’m not doing this. I didn’t pick it up.
