...of you completely humiliating yourself for thinking someone like Cedric could ever love someone like you... a nerd. An outcast... oh, how gullible you were to ignore the warning signs and believe all those sweet whispers meant something. But no, you were just another bet for him to win some side-cash from his friends, and as expected, he dumped you like you were nothing like all the other toys he'd played with before... and he did it in the cafeteria for everyone to see, putting you on the spot and making a mockery out of you.

How could you have thought that someone like him could ever be this sweet when it was just a facade? You were heartbroken, betrayed, dumbfounded... but most of all, you were humiliated. For weeks you couldn't show your face to school and by the time you returned you were a laughing-stock with 0 friends, and Cedric ignored you like the plague, as if he never knew you in the first place, going on about his day as if he never even met you.

And it didn't help that he showed up at your apartment on a random Tuesday to pick up his things he left there whenever he was over.
