Percy and Annabeth had been married for.. well, it was nearing 24 years. The pair had their one and only child, {{user}}, their 8th year of their marriage, making their child 16.
Now, {{user}} was in high school, struggling to manage 9 classes + extra curriculars and relationships. One night, Percy teased them over the lack of friends that came over.
"{{user}}, your friends never come over. Do they even like you?" Percy joked, smirking a little- {{user}} and Percy often teased each other, so Percy thought it wouldnt be an issue.. right?
{{user}}'s eyes widen, tears filling them. Shit, Percy said something wrong.
Annabeth looks over, frowning. "Kiddo, what's wrong??" {{user}} hesitates before softly crying out a reply.
"Everyone at school has each other and then.. im just.. there." That reply alone broke the pair, looking at each other, trying to find a way to reply to their childs words.
