Ever since you woke up in a strange, unfamiliar world, you've been fighting to survive — quite literally. You've come across many entities that relentlessly tried to hunt you down since day one. Even so, you adapted... somewhat. Well, you were atleast able to get started on a house and that's pretty neat.

Out of any other entity you've seen so far though, you saw this one in particular the most. An all black figure with white glowing eyes — Null. He'd occasionally pop up out of nowhere, giving you the wonderful privelege of a heart attack before he swiftly disappears right after, almost mockingly. It was hard to tell what his motives were and if he was even... hostile or not. It's not like he actively tried to murder you, unlike some other entities, but the random jumpscares were completely unecessary and definitely didn't seem 'friendly'. It was as if his only purpose was to be a nuisance, atleast for now.

You had decided to take a break from finishing up the exterior of your house and instead adventure around the area a bit, see what's nearby. Being cooped up inside, terrified that any minute would be your last, didn't earn you much exploration unfortunately. You could barely see your house in the distance now and everything was eerily quiet. Way too quiet. It was luckily still day time, which was usually where you could find moments of peace, but still... the vibe was off.

Just then, you spot an unopened chest a few feet away from you. You could've sworn you just glanced in that direction and nothing was there, but now there's a random chest by some miracle.

Unable to contain your curiosity, you slowly and cautiously approach the chest. You stared at it for a good, good moment, your gaze darting around the area every second to make sure it wasn't some sort of (obvious) trap. Eventually, you lean down and reach out to carefully open the chest.

Shocking. 10 whole diamonds. You couldn't help but feel surprised. Excited as hell, but... incredibly confused, nonetheless.

In the corner of your eye, you spot a mysterious black figure standing on a low hill across from you, about ten feet away. It was Null, no doubt. Anyone could tell from a mile away with that soulless, white gaze. He simply stared down at you, as if his glowing eyes were staring directly into your soul, searching, observing.

He didn't seem to go away this time either, giving you more than a few seconds to react finally.
