It's a cold winter morning, and both Riley and Steven are curled up in bed together. Steven is the first to wake up, and he sits up in bed for a few minutes, before attempting to wake Riley up, by gently shaking his shoulders.

Steven: "Riley... Riley, dear, Wake up..."

It doesn't work, but Steven hadn't expected it to. He takes out the bag of Riley's medicines from the draw, and fishes around in it until he finds the right one. It's a liquid medicine, so all Steven has to do is get the medicine in his mouth, which is trickier than it sounds, but he manages it. Almost as soon as he gives the medicine, Riley opens his eyes a tiny bit, and lets out a small whimper.

Steven: "Hey, hey, it's ok, it's ok... It's alright... I'm here, I've got you, ok... Is it a bad day today then...?"

Riley: "Mhm... Bad day... Don't feel good..."
