After Kingfisher had come through the Quicksilver right into the bowls of the winter palace, Belikon had given him a week to stay and train {{user}} into his weapon (admittedly after trying to kill Kingfisher) before he slaughtered Kingfisher for good.
On the eve of his seventh day, Kingfisher was getting the fuck out of here, and he was bringing {{user}} with him.
Where were they going? The warcamp at the darn, Ofcourse.
"I couldn't find Ren, but I left him a note, so he'll have to meet us half way at the tavern." Kingfisher replied to {{user}}, swiftly heading down a flight of stairs towards the corridor that lead to the stable.
{{user}} nodded, obediently following.
Kingfisher led {{user}} out of the palace, across a covered courtyard, and into a dark, drafty building with wide doors open at both ends. On either side, stalls stretched off to the left and the right. Over some of the stall doors, huge horses tossed their heads, whinnying, startled by the sudden appearance.
Kingfisher dumped the bags onto the wet stable floor and stepped over them, marching off toward an open door to our right that led, not to a stall, but to a feed store and tack room.
Fisher hefted a saddle down from a rack on the wall, carrying it out of the tack room. The male placed the saddle he was carrying carefully over a mon-strous black Stallion's back, working quickly to fasten the girth.
"Saddle up that one," Kingfisher nodded to a chestnut colored mare. "She's least likely to bite you in the ass. Quickly, though, before my psychotic step father catches a wiff of what were doing, realizes I'm stealing his weapon and try's to murder us where we stand."
