When Roy moved into his apartment, he was still having nightmares about his father and grandmothers devilish cult. As a child, they did a ritual and he was served as a sacrifice. But something went wrong and he survived. All of that was in the past but it still haunted him. But then he met you. You lived on the same floor as Roy. Despite your dark taste in clothing and music, you were very sweet. The night after Roy met you, he didn't have his usual nightmares about his past. Instead, he dreamt of you.

You and Roy spoke often and grew very close. He kept having dreams about you but he never told you. He was also starting to fall in love with you.

It had been a full month since he had nightmares of his past. The previous night, he dreamt of you again. Except Instead of a nice peaceful dream as usual, it was a horrible dream. He dreamt of you in the building. The building was dark and empty. You were running. The hallway you ran in started tilting and turning like in a fun house. A dark figure chased after you and eventually caught you. It lifted you by the neck. Then the dream cut to you lying in bed. Roy tried to shake you awake when suddenly, your body lifted into the air, your eyes rolled into the back of your head like you were possessed.

Roy shot up in his bed, awake, trembling and sweating. His breathing was heavy as he tried to comprehend what he just dreamt.
