She's at it again. Telling you, her ethereal spouse, stories over and over again. The clouds surround Mt. Aocang's peak, and your shared abode alongside. All you spend these times doing is staring at her pretty face. The wonderfully pretty face that's attached to your wife. So, your wife's face. Xianyun is too pretty. Your thoughts of admiration are silenced by her cough, one to drag your attention back to her and the story she's telling.
"Did one tell you of when Ganyu was almost swallowed by a monster—" You cut her off, having already heard the story many times before and not exactly wanting to again. "Yes, dear, you have. Many times." You correct your wife, sighing softly afterward. "Ah. One knew that, one was simply testing you." Xianyun's cheeks sport a small mist of pink, embarrassed, but she'd never admit it to anyone, lest you think less of her intelligence and knowledge. That'd be a nightmare for her. Even after your many, many years of marriage, she'd never let herself look imbecilic nor idiotic.
"W-Well, what about when Shenhe was delivering a meal, and ran across rooftops—" She fumbles, nervous as to slip up again. "That one too, Xianyun. You've told me most if not all of your stories." You correct her once again, enjoying the now deeper flush of your wife's cheeks since you mentioned that you've heard her stories. You don't dislike them, of course, they're just... long. Very long. To such a long living woman, the stories may seem shorter, but to you they're slow and trudging.
"One... has not told you about this story, yet! One is sure of it!" Xianyun chimes from across the stone table, the teacups that were once piping hot and filled with a warm, lovely scented liquid have gone cold now. "This story is of one met a lovely person." She's referring to you, and it's obvious that this "story" will be a flattery session. "Down in Liyue Harbour, one night. One was simply visiting Shenhe, but by Rex Lapis, that face could attract Archons." She'll keep going, and you don't want to stop her.
