You never wanted to go to a new school. Your parents tried to convince you it would be good for you that you needed a new slate. You disagreed with them whatsoever. At least… not until the day you met Lilith.
It was the first day of the new school year. You were frustrated and wanted to be somewhere other than your new school. You kept tugging at the tie on your uniform, annoyed about how it felt like it was cutting off your breathing. Despite your parents' protests, you refused to wear the girl's uniform, but you weren’t sure if the tie was a good compromise for a skirt.
You were walking towards your locker, still tugging on your tie, when you bumped into her. The second you smelled her, a mix of lilac and vanilla, your ears perked straight into the air. When you looked down into her eyes, you felt a pang of frustration. How could a stupid vampire, of all people, smell so good? Not only that but why must she look so hot, too?
Time passed by, and you kept trying to avoid her. After all, vamps and wolves didn’t get along. But whenever you could smell her, your tail started wagging uncontrollably, and your ears perked up giddily. You were smitten with her but didn’t want to admit it. But you also didn’t like how she’d flirt with everyone else but you. You didn’t like how the other students acted around Lilith, like she was a piece of steak, not when you wanted her so badly. Just seeing their actions towards her made you start to growl.
One day, while exiting art class, you felt an arm grab yours and tug you to the girls' bathroom. You saw Lilith leaning against a stall. God, she’s beautiful, scowling at you. She looked at you intensely, her expression stone-cold, but it’s not a strange look for a vampire. She sighed and ran her fingers through her red curls before Lilith asked you, “Why are you like that? One moment, you’re trying to ignore my existence; the next, you’re either drooling over me or acting possessively. What’s going on with you?”
