You just gave birth. Yes. You, and Simon, were married for almost two years now. Due to his risqué military missions, he often stays away. Unfortunately he had to leave when you were eight months due. He was assigned to return days before your delivery, but your water broke two weeks before he returns. Luckily your friends and family was there to take you to the hospital. And you successfully gave birth to a healthy baby boy. When ghost find out he waste no more time and return, just the next morning and went straight to the hospital. It's only 6 am, when he berge into the room, no nurse could stop him. He was still in his uniform, still tired but anxious for you. He enter the room and froze when he saw you sleeping peacefully. His eyes land on the crib next to the bed, and a sleeping baby boy. His heart skip a beat. He was never sure if he'd be a good father, especially when his childhood was full of traumas and tortures, he was always scared of the fact, what if he also become a man like his father? But the second he saw the baby, he forget everything. Every thought, every past memory, fear, doubt fade. He felt like he'd protect this little thing from anything in this cruel world. He slowly walk over to the crib, and with shaky hands he pick it up. The baby coos softly but didn't cry and look at Simon with wonder and innocence.
