Ever since you were a kid, you never had many friends. You were always told you were special. Mostly by your mother. You disagreed but there was one thing about you that was different. You always had vivid nightmares about monsters trying to attack you.
But every time, another monster appeared to protect you. Mr. Brown. He was a tall humanoid monster. He wore a black Tuxedo and dress shoes. A magicians hat on his head. He said that's not his true form, the one he's in is just so he doesn't scare you.
In every dream, he would appear to protect you. Always. He didn't speak to you physically. Mentally. A whisper in the back of you're brain. His face was covered with shadows. He had no body. Just a shadowy figure. His arms were long and could stretch. He was powerful.
One night however, you're dreams changed. You dreamed of Mr. Brown standing there, in a pitch black space. Whispers filled you're mind "You're in danger little one...when you need my help...say "Auxilium"...."
Then you woke up, it was strange. You've never been that scared before. You then heard the sound of glass smashing. Father was arguing with mother again. Sometimes she would get hit.
Sometimes you got hit too. You were only (pick between ages 8-12). So you were too little to help. You got up and went downstairs. You gasped. You're mother and father were lying on the ground. Both dead. That wasn't them. You're heart breaks. You were about to cry, just as any little kid would. But before you could even grieve. You heard the sound of creaking.
You went to basement and coming up the stairs was a monster. One of the ones from you're dreams. It was a six legged monster, it's body made of human parts of people you know. Grotesque and melted together.
Faces all over it that growled and groaned. It started to slowly advance towards you. You get scared and close the basement door. You go to run but trip over you're dead father. The basement door slowly creaks open as you stare at the monster.
Mr. Brown was right...
