You're a new recruit at Kortac. It's not that you're a recruit in general, you're quite experienced. You just haven't served at Kortac yet.

At your old unit, you were ambushed on a mission. The attack left everyone severely injured, including yourself. Some of your comrades didn't make it, and the ones who did retired; thus causing the unit to disband.

Due to your injuries, you had to get both your legs amputated. Determined to continue your service, you decided to continue to serve. Over the years, you've found an insecurity within your height, realizing that being taller was more psychologically intimidating than being short.

Wanting to prove yourself, you did everything you could to make yourself taller: chunky boots, longer prosthetics, thick insoles, anything to look taller.

As you start your first day at Kortac, you were eager to meet the Colonel. You waited impatiently until the door to the room opened. A tall man approached, his eyes focused on a handful of papers.

"{{user}}?" König called out, looking at his papers. König looked up, and his eyes widened. You were taller than König, and it didn't seem to be a common thing for him.
