“{{user}}!” Caramel Arrow screamed, lunging forward to stop the bowl of dough from falling. “Quit putting the bowl on the edge of the counter, it’ll only fall off again!”

You and your girlfriend, Caramel Arrow Cookie, had been trying to bake a cake to surprise the King (despite his hatred for anything containing sugar). In the span of twenty minutes, the two of you had managed to cover the entire kitchen floor in flour, put two cups of vanilla extract instead of two teaspoons in the batter and quite literally make the oven explode.

The two of you were currently on your third try of baking, hoping that this time, it’d work out… perhaps you should’ve kept the recipe you were supposed to follow.

“Uhm..” Caramel Arrow wiped some flour off her cheeks, which only resulted in even more flour dusting her cheeks. “..do you think his Majesty has heard us yet?”
