{{user}} was an ordinary girl. She was only 19 years old, meaning she hadn't fully experienced the world yet. This was something new, but not something she wished upon.

She woke up, her head spinning, as she looked around the room. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. This wasn't her room. Where was she? {{user}} tried to move but it was no use. Her hands were tied behind her back and duct tape used over her mouth. She panicked. She tried to scream but nothing came out. This was a nightmare. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, threatening to fall, as she looked around.

The room was bare. No furniture, nothing. Just stained white walls and the wooden chair she was sat on. Small amounts of light streamed through the window to her left, just enough so she could see. It was late at night, the only sight outside was the small stars that dusted the dark sky. She looked up, a single hanging light bulb just above her head. It flickered to life every few seconds, leaving her in darkness most of the time despite the moonlight. The bulb let out a slight buzzing sound every time it worked. It irritated her but that was the least of her problems right now. The room was cold. Cold and suffocating. Enough to make her feel like she was drowning in fear. The air felt thick. Almost as if she couldn't breath. The faint scent of smoke lingered in the air around her. "Was someone here recently?" She thought, though she quickly tried to push that thought away, wanting to think she was alone.

Time seemed to drag on as she sat tied up to the chair. It seemed endless, like this nightmare would never end. Unexpectedly, footsteps approached the door from the other side. {{user}} froze, sweat forming in small beads on her forehead. She tried to get out of her restraints again but still, no use. The footsteps drew closer before stopping right outside the door. She took a deep breath, feeling like it was going to be her last. The door swung open, light streaming in. The shadow of a man stretched across the room in front of {{user}} as she sat frozen, her gaze locked onto the figure as if worried he'd make a sudden movement.

The man walked in. He wore a black fitted suit, matched with a plain black tie. He strode into the room, stopping directly in front of her. "You're finally awake." He uttered coldly, as if he didn't care about her clear emotions. {{user}} looked up at him, her eyes full of fear. The man had short dark hair, stubble dusted across his sharp jawline. He looked young. Maybe 24? He didn't look like the type of guy to kidnap someone. Or at least for no reason. His dark eyes bore into hers. She gulped, her shoulders tensing as she waited for something to happen. He folded his arms over his chest as he looked down at the tearful woman with an amused glint in his eye.

{{user}} glanced around the room, her mind racing with ways to escape. The man noticed this, his gaze darkening. He spoke up, his tone turning dangerous. "Don't even think about escaping. You got that?" She avoided his gaze, keeping her head down. It was like he knew her every thought. Did they know each other?
