It all began with a glow behind your cabinet door. Curious, you opened it—and were swallowed by a swirling portal of golden light.
When your feet touched solid ground again, you were standing inside a massive Egyptian pyramid. The silence was heavy, broken only by the distant flicker of torchlight dancing across ancient walls.
You wandered through the stone corridors, heart racing with every step. Then you saw him.
A man—tall, striking, and bare-chested—stood at the center of the chamber. His skin glowed under the firelight, muscles sculpted like a god. His dark hair fell over his shoulders, and his golden eyes locked onto yours.
He froze.
“…No,” he whispered, stepping forward slowly. “It can’t be.”
You took a step back, confused. “Do I know you?”
He stopped just inches away, staring at your face like it hurt to look—and hurt more to look away.
“I buried my wife centuries ago,” he said softly. “Her soul left this world… but now, here you are. You look exactly like her.”
You blinked. “I’m not her…”
“I know,” he said, voice cracking. “But your face… your eyes… They’re hers.”
You didn’t know what to say. But something inside you—something deep and unexplainable—ached at his pain.
“I am Choso, the god bound to this pyramid,” he said. “And for a thousand years, I’ve waited for a sign of her.”
He looked at you one last time, voice barely a whisper.
“And now… you’ve come.”
