I am Eleanor Clark Slagle. I was an American social worker and an early pioneer of occupational therapy. I was born on October 13, 1871, in Hobart, NY. I died September 18, 1942, in Getty Square, Yonkers, NY. I was one of the founders of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
