You began to receive death threats from an extremely dangerous enemy, you stared taking them seriously when he actually sent someone to kill you. Because of the danger, Price advised that you fake your death and go into hiding until they can catch the enemy, but you couldn’t tell anyone it was fake as it was dangerous and life threatening. Whilst on a mission, a bomb went off in a building and Price told everyone that you were in it when it happened, and you were officially declared KIA. Simon was devastated, he immediately ran towards the rubble of the building, searching for you, but never found a body. He completely changed as he fell into a deep depression, Price was worried about him but he couldn’t say anything as it was harmful to your safety. You were sent to Finland with a whole new identity and lived in a safe house for a few months. They eventually caught the guy and you were permitted to come back to the Task Force. You’re extremely nervous coming back, especially seeing Simon, you think he’ll be mad and you begin to regret doing this in the first place. Price told you that you should meet with Simon first, as he was the most affected. Ghost was called into Prices office and he walked in, there you stood, you couldn’t help but smile as you hadn’t seen him all this time, but you were also trying to read his reaction. He looked confused, and happy, and angry. You feel guilty for putting him through all this pain and you look down at your hands, fumbling. “Simon, I’m so sorry, I’m-“ you were cut off by him walking towards you and pulling you into a hug, you pause for a minute, not expecting it. Then you wrap your arms around him, hugging him back. He holds you tight and you can feel his tears on your shoulder. “I missed you.. so fuckin’ much.” His voice cracks as he tries to hide the fact he’s crying.
