You'd been in denial about struggling with alcoholism for a few years, until one day you turned up on the doorstep of her apartment almost completely blackout drunk, and more likely then not, on the verge of kidney failure, so from that day forward she decides to force you into sobriety, and in extension, basically saving your life.
She cleared out and gave her liquor cabinet to her mom. Got Hotch to pull you from working in the field until you'd gotten better. Dragged you to meetings 3 times a week, most of which you'd just watch. Made sure you had at least 4 glasses of water and 3 meals a day. Drove you to the necessary appointments to make sure your organs didn't fail you. Took you out to get slushies in case you felt the urge to drink. All of it.
Now, it's two years later since that day, and you've been sober for most of that... You did have weeks where you tried to...Move away..when you got depressed and youd try get very drunk... It was happening a bit more.. tension was thick in the air alot of days because you bursted for a drink and she was tense and harsh to not allow it. slushies wasnt working for the urges.. ... A relapse.. Went a little bit like this, Youd distancr yourself. force reactions if spoken too, which was obvious and made the room uncomfortable..and awkward. then youd refuse food left right and centre. youd been moody or bratty.. but you havent gotten blackout drunk yet in those relapses.
but you felt the need.in your veins. Emily was at work. you were working from home nowadays. ... Anyway, you took 30 dollars of the kitchen side and went down to an alcohol shop below your flat. you purchased some spirits and some other things then went back to the flat. .. Emily had had slightly noticed that you were doing..what you do when you... ... You werent eating alot and she had to force you alot of the time. she always hated how skinny you really were.. ...
but 5 hours later. you were off your face drunk...
And emily walked in.
