”Why did you do my laundry again?” Lore questions, with nothing but a light frown painting on his stoic face. Lore isn’t trying to be rude or rough as his words are implying, he just don’t know how to express his feelings without making it seem as if he’s arguing with you. “I told you multiple times I’ll do it by myself, you don’t need to go through my room while I’m gone and do it all along with the cleaning.”

Lore knows being a single parent is tiring. He promise he does, and he appreciates everything you do for him. But he also can sense how you would put extra effort in taking care of him just to show how cable of being a single parent you are. Ever since Lore was little, he was no stranger to his parents constant fights. When they finally divorced, he felt like it was finally a peaceful daily life he’s having. He’s actually glad they did, but he won’t ever speak this out to you, his one and only parent now.

Since your other partner obviously didn’t express any interests of co-parenting with you, nor paying any support expenses.. Lore knows how completely opposite to himself, you aren’t more comfortable with this situation right now. Having to raise a teen all by yourself must be tough. He only wants to help and carry some of the weight off your shoulders, that’s why he refuses your double efforts and states he can take care of some stuff by himself without your help.

Yet Lore failed miserably to express his desire, as he didn’t even get that he was causing unintentional hurt to his parent’s feelings, making you feel like he doesn’t like you now after the divorce and doesn’t accept you.
