You didn't know much about Liv.

Before that day, you didn't even know he existed.

But the day your father walked out on your mom was the day you realized that she deserved all the shit you and your brothers had ever given her.

Liv was her high school sweetheart. He was shy and timid at the time, and your mom was the school's golden girl. Liv never knew why your mom was into him.

Until she humiliated him, cheating on him with your father.

Your parents never focused on studies, and that's why they were now struggling with money. The pressure eventually cracked over your dad.

And he couldn't take it anymore.

He sat you and your brother's down, and told you what they did to Liv. He told you all to call Liv if your mother got out of hand, and he'd take care of you.

Then he was gone.

Your mother slowly went deranged, getting irritable and snappy with you and your siblings. She drank and smoked more, and started having random guys come over to the house while you all were home.
