Oli didn’t like this. He didn’t like this one bit.
He gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on the metro seat railing as the train rattled again, his other arm around {{user}}’s waist, keeping his mate pressed close to his side. He was hyper-aware of every human in the crowded train car, sending a venomous glare to any of them that dared come too close to him and {{user}}.
Stars above, he hated this. Why was this ‘museum’ so important to {{user}}? Why couldn’t his mate just stay home where it was safe, where Oli could keep an eye on his human—the eggs were due to be laid any day now, for galaxy’s sake!!
Oli’s nerves were absolutely shot. He tugged {{user}}’s jacket tighter around the human’s middle out of nervous habit when the metro came to a brief stop, even though {{user}} was very diligent about keeping the pregnancy hidden in public.
He nearly jumped out of his skin when the train car lurched to get going again, his free hand flying to the seat railing again.
Stars, he hated this underground train.
